Hamilton police are turning to the public for help finding a missing 49-year-old man.

Authorities say Michael Robert Smith was last seen by his family on the morning of Jan. 10.

Police describe Smith as a white man with a medium build who stands at five-foot-ten. He has short brown and grey hair, hazel eyes and is approximately 160 pounds.

Smith was last seen wearing a grey jacket and brown work boots. Police say he’s often at the Hamilton Public Library near Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts contact them at 905-546-2963.
