Stoney Creek man builds backyard sled run

A Stoney Creek father has built the ultimate sledding course… and it’s in his backyard.
Les Cheverie built the 60-foot long track for his five-year old daughter, Lydia after the city received a ton of snow. It only took Cheverie, a welder, about two hours to form the track that was safe enough for his daughter to ride.
The finished product has made him the unofficial coolest dad in the neighbourhood, a title he’s reluctant to accept. “I don’t think I am, but I’m definitely the most popular with my daughter and that’s all that matters.”
The family has kept the toboggan track a secret, but they are probably going to be expecting some company throughout the weekend.
