Stoney Creek fire

A fire has caused nearly 450-thousand dollars in damage to a truck repair shop in Stoney Creek

The fire took place on the South Service Road near Millen Road at Wajax Power Systems on Sunday morning.

Over a dozen fire trucks were called to battle the blaze which raged for nearly 90 minutes.

The city of Hamilton’s building department has been contacted to determine if the roof of the building is structurally sound.

No word yet on the cause of the blaze.
