Two arrested after police track down stolen truck

There was a heavy police presence in the city’s east end earlier today.

Both Hamilton Police and OPP were called around 11 in the morning for a stolen pickup truck.

Several police cars swarmed the area of Nikola Tesla Boulevard and Parkdale Avenue North.

The truck was found along the train tracks.

OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt told CHCH News that a man and a woman were arrested and have since been charged with six offences.

They are being held for a bail hearing.
