“Star Trek” alum Jack Donner on William Shatner

A Romulan subcommander visited Morning Live today.

Jack Donner was in the original “Star Trek” series. He’s best known for his role in “The Enterprise Incident,” and returned as a vulcan priest in two other episodes.

He talked about what it was like working with Canadian actor William Shatner.

“(He’s a) nice guy, you know. People have the wrong idea about him, but I think that he felt whatever he was on was on his shoulders … and there are a lot of people like that who are conscientious or compulsive or whatever,” said Donner. “So it caused him to be a little aloof or preoccupied, but I got along with him just fine.”

This weekend, Donner will be at the Super Fan Comic Con at the Better Living Centre at The Ex in Toronto.
