Staples will go to trial

Mark Staples has just learned he will face trial for the first degree murders of his father and sister.

The bodies of William Staples and his daughter Rhonda Borelli were found badly decomposed in the back of a pickup truck at the Toronto Park n’ Fly in June 1998.

Ontario Court Justice Fred Campling says there is enough evidence for the trial to proceed.

It’s expected to start next January and take two or three months to complete.
