Stabbing in Hamilton’s west end

Hamilton police are investigating after a 27-year old woman was stabbed in the city’s west end last night.

It happened around 9:30pm, near Main Street West and Whitney Avenue.

The woman suffered serious injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening.

She had surgery today, and officers will be speaking to her about the attack tonight.

Police have a suspect, but have not made any arrests.
