Stabbing Arrest

Police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of a Hamilton man dating back to February of last year. 28 year old Richard Doucette died from wounds he sustained during a stabbing at an apartment on Barton Street near Mary Street. Police say on the evening of February 28th, 2014, a man followed a woman into her apartment. Once inside, the woman was attacked by the man with a knife. Richard Doucette, who was in the building at the time, came to her aid and was attacked. He suffered several stab wounds and died shortly after. The female victim was taken to hospital with injuries. 30 year old Sean Harold Micks is facing second degree murder and attempted murder.
