St. Catharines stabbing

Niagara police have identified the man accused in a St. Catharines stabbing earlier this week.

An arrest warrant has now been issued for 24 year old Jamie Khouathip of St. Catharines.

The stabbing took place Tuesday night at a home on Vine Street.

Police say the accused and the victim knew each other, and that the victim is expected to be okay.

Khouathip is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Police are asking anyone who has seen him to contact them.
