St. Catharines man facing child porn charges

Niagara police have charged a 53-year old man with child pornography offences.

An investigation was launched in August by members of The Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E) Unit, into the creation and distribution of child pornography.  As a result, a search warrant was obtained for a home in St. Catharines.

Allan “Jay” Fiocca was arrested and charged by Niagara police with the help of the Technological Crimes Unit and Cyber Crimes Unit on August 30.

Fiocca has been charged with making, possessing and distributing child pornography.

Police say he is being held in custody until his bail hearing.
