St. Catharines man charged in child pornography investigation

Police have charged a St. Catharines man accused of uploading child sexual abuse material online.
In August, Niagara police launched an investigation into child sexual abuse content being uploaded to a Google cloud-based storage device.
Investigators carried out a search warrant on Dec. 7 at a home in St. Catharines, where they recovered several images and videos.
Officers returned to the home Monday to arrest 29-year-old Paul Nguyen-Brown. He has been charged with two counts of possessing child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography.
Nguyen-Brown is scheduled to appear in a St. Catharines courthouse for a bail hearing Tuesday.
