St. Catharines man arrested in child pornography investigation

A St. Catharines man has been charged following an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police’s Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.

Niagara police were contacted by the OPP after their investigation revealed a suspect was “offending” in the Niagara Region.

Police executed a search warrant at a St. Catharines home and seized a number of computer systems and storage media.

The seized items were forensically examined and 49-year-old Gregory James Mcadorey was arrested and charged.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Thursday.
