St. Catharines man, 36, facing sex charges involving a child

A St. Catharines man is facing numerous charges in connection with the sexual exploitation of a child.

Craig Christopher Doig, 36, was arrested on July 28 and charged with uttering threats following an investigation by Niagara police.

Police laid additional charges on Aug. 8 including expose genitals to a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, making child pornography, possession of child pornography, and distributing child pornography.

Doig is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Monday.

Detectives say they have reason to believe there may be more victims.
