Niagara police say a 21-year-old man has been arrested following a three-year assault investigation.

Khalid Ali, of St. Catharines, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault.

Police say the alleged assaults took place in 2018 and 2020 in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.

Investigators say the investigation involved two female victims in separate incidents.

Ali was scheduled to appear in court Friday.

Police believe there may be more victims.
