St. Catharines man, 19, arrested on child exploitation charges

Niagara Regional Police Service has arrested a 19-year-old man on several child exploitation charges.
Back in September 2019, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit launched an investigation into the sexual exploitation of children.
The investigation led police to a St. Catharines residence.
On Thursday, officers arrested Nicholas Leroux. He has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, and one count each of accessing child pornography, making child pornography, voyeurism, sexual assault, and sexual interference.
Leroux is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday.
Detectives say they have reason to believe there may be more victims.
