Threat prompts evacuation of St. Catharines high school

Classes will resume Tuesday as planned at a St. Catharines high school after a threat prompted an evacuation of the building.
Shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday, Niagara police were called to Eden High School after a threat had been received.
Police say the building was evacuated “out of an abundance of caution” and students and staff were forced to level while officers searched the building.
Investigators determined there was no ongoing threat to public safety.
No one was physically harmed during the incident.
