St. Catharines firefighters battle a blaze and weather-related emergencies

The St. Catharines fire department says they were quite busy.

In addition to responding to weather-related emergencies, they were also called to a home on Mountain Street just after 10 o’clock this morning where a detached garage caught fire.

The fire took just under two hours to put out. The cause has not been determined at this time. Luckily there were no injuries reported.
