A spontaneous memorial commemorates the area where 25 people were run down in Toronto

Thousands of people attended a memorial to honour the victims of the horrific van attack that left 10 people dead.
Police say the majority of victims are women and range in age from 20 to 80 years old.
One of the 10 people killed has been identified as Anne Marie D’Amico, an employee at Invesco. We’ve also learned that an 80 year old grandmother from Toronto, two South Korean nationals and one Jordanian are among the dead. Seneca College said a female student was also among those killed, but didn’t provide further details.
Ontario’s chief coroner said it would take days for the names of the deceased to be officially released.
