SpinCo Hamilton COVID-19 outbreak “probably” connected to Toronto bar

The COVID-19 outbreak at SpinCo Hamilton could be linked to a Toronto bar.
Barbara Yaffe, Ontario’s associate chief medical officer of health says the outbreak began with a person who “probably got infected at a bar in Toronto.”
“That bar doesn’t have an outbreak that we’re aware of, however it caused a huge outbreak,” she said in a news briefing on Monday.
The SpinCo outbreak was declared Oct. 5.
There are 85 cases connected to that outbreak, including 54 primary cases.
