The 2025 Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games are coming to Brantford in July and today is ‘Be a Fan Day’.

#BeAFan Day invites everyone—students, businesses, local leaders and members of law enforcement—to proudly show their support for Special Olympics athletes.

Officers from the Brantford Police Service, the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police and the Six Nations Police will unite with Special Olympics athletes and community supporters to celebrate #BeAFanDay and officially kick off the summer games taking place July 10-13.

The ‘Be a Fan Day’ event is at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford.
