Canada’s largest free outdoor music festival is taking over downtown Burlington. The Sound of Music Festival is running all weekend featuring dozens of artists, performing at Spencer Smith Park and in front of Burlington City Hall.

The four day festival offers music, a midway with rides, a vendor’s market, a beer garden, and lots of food options.

Nearly 50 different artists and bands are scheduled to perform, with shows starting on Thursday and running through Sunday.

Brant Street will be closed from Caroline to Lakeshore to make way for the festival’s streetfest where there will be family friendly activities along with lots of music, dancing and shopping.
