A man from British Columbia has been charged in the death of his 67-year-old father in Gravenhurst, ON.

Officers were called to a cottage on Kahshe Lake around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a violent altercation.

Upon their arrival, police found the body of John Kehl of Brampton.

Thirty-year-old Adam Kehl was arrested at the scene and charged with second degree murder, indignity to a dead body and assault.

Kehl remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
