Some traffic lanes near Confederation GO Station closed for construction

Some traffic lanes near Confederation GO Station in Hamilton are closed from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

Metrolinx says select lanes on Centennial Parkway between Goderich and Arrowsmith roads are closed for construction of a new platform at the station.

Sidewalks on both sides of these roads are also shut down to ensure the safety of pedestrians.

GO employees will be on site to help guide drivers.
