Some good news for Minot’s flood victims

Welcome news for flood-ravaged Minot, North Dakota


Forecasters have revised their projection of the Souris River flood crest downward.
The river has levelled off and the new expected crest is about half-a-metre lower than originally thought.
But residents in other parts of North Dakota are not out of the danger zone.
More than four-thousand homes have been flooded in Minot, and 10-thousand people have been forced to evacuate.
