Soccer hall of fame dinner

A special night for the sport of soccer in Hamilton, because there’s never been a night like it.

It was the inaugural Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame induction dinner. The inductees were Bill Millar, the late Frank Donlavey, Lydia Vamos, Angelo Magliocco; builders Mario DiBartolomeo, and Bill Rutlidge, John McGrane, arguably the best player ever produced in Steeltown; and in the team category, Westinghouse, a national power a century ago.

Congratulations to the man behind the formation of the hall of fame, John Gibson.
