Snakes in an apartment

Toronto police officers were called to capture snakes that had slithered into two different apartments on the same street.

Yesterday, one woman called police saying a snake had slithered out from behind a wall.

Officers came and removed the corn snake.

Then, a few hours later, officers had to fish a non-poisonous python from a toilet bowl.

The snakes will be taken to a reptile zoo in Vaughan if their owners don’t claim them within a week.
