Smoke shack in Caledonia torn down

Under the watchful eye of Ontario Provincial Police, the Broken Promises Smoke Shack was demolished by heavy equipment.

It was a joint operation with input from the Six Nations Police, the Six Nations band council, the Sheriff and the OPP. Traffic on the Highway 6 bypass was diverted during the operation but the bypass has since been reopened. Other nearby smoke shacks remain intact.
