Slugs blamed in swan deaths

The Lincoln County Humane Society has uncovered what killed 16 swans on a St Catharines pond.

The swans were found at Martindale Pond, and the cause of death has been discovered to be some parastitic slugs the swans ate, which caused them to bleed internally.
