Sliderfest

Thursday evening at Upper Gage Garage in Hamilton it was Sliderfest as local food trucks battled it out to see who was the best in bun.

And it was The Dirty South who took home top prize. Hundreds showed up for the sliders and music. Many even braved the rain. Other trucks involved were Dobrojesti, Big Chief, Veggie Culture Club, and The Meatball Shoppe. Best in bun was decided by a panel of judges, all burger aficionado’s that included myself. There was also a peoples’ choice award and that went to Dobrojesti. The whole event was put on in support of the Cancer Assistance Program. Event organizer Sandy Suzy was impressed with how Hamiltonians turn out, even in the rain.
