Skylon Tower’s Stair Climb For Cancer

Hundreds of people took the stairs all the way to the top of the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls Saturday.

The event raises money for the pediatric cancer research and offers financial assistance for families who’s kids have cancer.

80 year old Mitsko Suzaki is the oldest climber in the history of the event. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer 45 years ago.

The stair climb has raised more than one million dollars over the past 22 years. This year forty five thousand dollars alone was brought in
