Sketch released for sex assault suspect

Halton police are asking the public to help them find a suspect in a sexual assault that happened over 30 years ago. They say on December 15th, 1980, a woman was walking around Nelson and Ontario Street in Burlington when a man approached her and offered her a ride home. When the woman refused the offer, police say the man grabbed her, dragged her to a nearby yard, and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect was described as white, in his 30’s, approximately 5′ 10″ and weighing 170 to 180 pounds. He’s also said to have hooded eyelids, green or grey eyes and had medium brown hair that parted to the side and was noticeably longer at the back.
The sketch shows what the described suspect may look like today, 33 years after the incident.
