Six vehicle crash sends three to hospital

Three people were taken to a Hamilton hospital Saturday after a six vehicle collision on the Fort Erie bound QEW at the base of the Skyway Bridge.

The crash happened just before 10 o’clock outside Burlington.

A 40-year-old female bus driver from Brampton and a 45-year-old-man and 45-year-old woman from Grand Valley were taken to hospital. All three suffered serious injuries.

Police are investigating whether the snow played a role in the crash.
