Six people charged in break-and-enter at Norfolk County cannabis farm

Six people have been arrested for trying to break into a cannabis farm in Norfolk County, police say.

Ontario Provincial Police responded to a 911 call around 2 a.m. on Monday for a break-and-enter in progress at an address of Windham Rd. 19.

Police say the suspects forced their way into the farm before trying to get into a barn.

They took off in a vehicle when they realized police had been called.

Brant County OPP officers patrolling the area located the suspect vehicle traveling on Highway 403.

Police used a spike strip to stop the vehicle.

Six people were arrested and are facing several charges.
