Six Nations Police investigate unsanctioned lantern festival in Ohsweken

Six Nations Police say they are investigating an unsanctioned lantern festival in Ohsweken on Saturday.
The event was advertised as The Lights Festival and was taking place in the Greater Toronto Area.
Police say when they arrived on scene Fourth Line near the CN rail line they observed a large amount of vehicles waiting to enter the property and around 30-50 lanterns in the sky.
Police then focused on controlling the traffic and turned vehicles away. It is unclear how many people bought tickets for the event, but an Instagram post on The Lights Festival earlier this week had over 800 comments asking for refunds for the botched event.
Six Nations Police continue to investigate and say charges are pending.
