SIU probing police role in suicide

We now know the name of the Hamilton man who plunged to his death from his 10th storey apartment Tuesday night.

And while we also know Norman Mintz died around the same time police were at his building — what we don’t know is — what role, if any, police played in the 65 year old’s death. As Cindy Csordas reports, that’s the puzzle the province’s Special Investigations Unit is trying to solve.
