SIU probing Mississauga crash

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is probing an Thursday night crash in Mississauga.

A 19 year old man was trapped in a car that plunged about 10 metres from Mississauga Road into a ditch. He was taken to hospital with head injuries. Another person in the car was also been taken to hospital. Peel Regional Police won’t say if they were involved in a pursuit of the car.
The SIU takes over an investigation whenever someone is injured or killed with the involvement of police.
