SIU find officer not at fault

An investigation conducted by the special investigations unit has found no reason to charge a Hamilton officer with a criminal offence.

The investigation took place, after a 23 year old man was hospitalized with a spinal cord injury last November following an incident with police.

According to the report, the man was injured when he fell over 6 metres after jumping over a fence while attempting to run from officers.
