SIU called in following incident in Burlington

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit was called following an incident in Burlington late last night.

Halton police say they were investigating people inside a parked vehicle at a plaza on Guelph Line, when one of the occupants took off on foot.

Since the person sustained an upper body injury while being apprehended, the SIU needed to be notified.
