Singer wants voice pulled from ads

Suzie McNeil, the singer on the televised Marineland commercials, wants her voice pulled from the ads.

Meantime, the Ontario SPCA plans to bring in sea mammal experts for an on-site inspection at Marineland, after several former employees went public with concerns that animals were suffering.

John Holer, the owner of the Niagara Falls park, has denied that there are problems.

OSPCA Inspector Connie Mallory says they’re treating the matter very seriously.

The OSPCA has the authority to lay charges if it finds problems.

An animal advocacy group has a protest planned near the park entrance Saturday at noon.
