Shutting down eco fee program could cost Ontario residents millions

Ontario residents could soon be paying millions of dollars to shut down the Eco Fee program.

The controversial fees were introduced last July but then were quickly canceled. The province expects it will cost $8 million a year to keep six key items targeted by the Eco fees out of landfills.
