Shooting victim from Hamilton

Police hunt for gunman who fired the fatal shot that killed a young boy in his family home.

Brampton police say nine year old Kesean Williams was watching T-V in his living room Wednesday night when a bullet pierced the window and hit him in the head.

Kesean, his older brother, and their mother had just moved from Hamilton the week before.

Police say they believe the house — but not necessarily the Williams family — was targeted.

Previous tenants are being investigated.

Meanwhile grief counsellors were on hand Thursday at Kesean’s previous school, Dr. J. Edgar Davey Elementary in Hamilton, to help students and staff who knew the young boy.
