Shania Twain takes the stage at FirstOntario Centre

Shania Twain is performing at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton on Tuesday night for her Queen of Me Tour. The show is expected to have over 12,000 fans in attendance.

Fans were seen lining up early Tuesday afternoon to get up close and personal with the country superstar.

Restaurants and hotels nearby the venue are benefiting from Shania being in town. Stonewalls restaurant down the street from FirstOntario Centre says they have been taking dinner reservations all day.

Tourism Hamilton says most hotels are sold out. “It’s absolutely fantastic, obviously when we have somebody like Shania Twain, a top-selling female country artist of all time, somebody of that caliber is always going to be a draw, and it’s great news for Hamilton, it’s great news for our hospitality partners,” Dana Borcea of Tourism Hamilton said.

This is Shania’s 5th time performing in Hamilton.
