Sex offender to be released into Hamilton community on Friday: police

A 55-year-old sex offender will be released into the Hamilton community on Friday, police say.

Steven Edward Robinson recently completed a seven-year sentence for sexual interference.

This was Robinson’s third federal sentence for crimes against children, dating back to 1991, according to Hamilton police.

They say there’s a plan in place to monitor his activities within the city.

An application has also been submitted for a Section 810.1 Recognizance Order where additional conditions could be placed on him.
