Sex assault arrest at Mac

A Mississauga man has been arrested after two McMaster University students were sexually assaulted.

Police say two women attending the university were sexually assaulted between May 2012 and February of this year.

26-year old John Fabiano also attended the university at the time. He’s been arrested on two counts of sexual assault and has been released on a promise to appear in court. he’s also been restricted from visiting the McMaster university campus and is not allowed to have contact with the victims. No other details on the police investigation have been released at this point. However, McMaster University says they are taking these allegations very seriously and are reiterating their appeal to the community to report any level of sexual assault when it happens.
