‘Sex and the City’ star to hit boards in Canada
Kim Cattrall is coming home to Canada.
Toronto producer David Mirvish unveiled his theatre lineup for the 2011-2012 season Tuesday. Cattrall will star in the acclaimed London production of Noel Coward’s classic comedy of manners, Private Lives.
Highlighting the season’s lineup are Chess, the Musical, prior to its London run; the Canadian premiere of the musical Mary Poppins, a current hit in London and New York, and the hit Broadway revival of Hair. This show returns to the Royal Alexandra Theatre where the groundbreaking Canadian production set box office records from 1969 to 1971.
