“Several” guns and ammunition taken from central Hamilton home: police

Hamilton police say handguns and ammunition were stolen from a central Hamilton home.

Police say one or more people entered a residence in the area of Victoria Ave. N and Wilson St. E between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 17.

Several handguns and ammunition were taken.

Police believe there may be more than one person involved. Detectives are trying to confirm the exact number of firearms taken.

Residents in the area are asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
