The OPP has charged the driver of a tractor trailer in Monday morning’s serious crash on Highway 403 in Burlington.

A 51-year old woman from Oakville was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Police say just after 7:30, three vehicles were travelling west, when a collision sent the woman’s Honda Civic into the eastbound lanes between King Road and Highway 6, striking another vehicle. The other drivers were treated at the scene. 40-year old Jason Williams from Toronto has been charged with careless driving.
