Sentencing in jail beating

A 26 year old man has been sentenced to life with no chance of parole for 12 years for beating a Brantford man to death at Toronto’s Don Jail.

Troy Campbell pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

Thirty-one year old Jeff Munro was killed in November 2009 after a dispute over a bag of potato chips.

His family has filed a $170,000 lawsuit against police and the prison, alleging negligence in the case.
