A 74-year-old man is in hospital after he was struck by a tractor trailer in Lakeshore, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says the man was walking across Essex County Rd. 22 around 12:30 p.m. Monday.

They say the senior was struck by a truck that was travelling eastbound.

He was rushed to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
