Self-regulation coming to Ontario trades

For years we’ve had the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, the Law Society of Upper Canada and other organizations that self-regulate the practice of certain professions in the province.

But starting next year, Ontario is preparing to move that model into the trades sector. Scot Urquhart was on hand today as the training, colleges and universities minister pitched the new system in Hamilton.
